The Vampire Girl

One more gig with special effects – big and special thanks to Emily Plamondon! This time we played with vampire theme shooting two girls (Natalia – the “vampire”and Kate – the “victim”) in a pretty simple setup.

Natalia was heroically wearing artificial teeth glued on a very strong-ordor compound – kudos to her for stoicism and passion for modelling. I would never be able to do it! Luckily, I was the one holding the camera.

Too bad we were late for Halloween – or may be it’s to the better good, because the set looks too scary to show to your kids.

The Fighter Girl

I always wanted to do a fighting theme shoot with some special effects makeup – probably since my time in martial arts (even though that was long time ago). All pieces fell into place when I recently connected with RAE (model and martial artist) – it became clear that we have to do The Fighter Girl shoot. Emily was also absolutely positive about participating in this gig.

As you can see in the images, Emily P. did outstanding job with special effects – they looks almost scary real. Rae was very persuasive in both of her looks – as karate-girl and as a street fighter. Most importantly, this was a great fun for our entire shooting crew – big thanks to all participating members!

Ram The House Down!

I couldn’t miss such a great opportunity as shooting in the house set for demolition.
The idea was to destroy some walls and show a “Hard working girl” look with some sweat and aggression in the poses. Natalia did amazing job modelling for this shoot – big thanks to her.

The hardest parts were managing the sweaty look on the skin (used baby oil + water mixture) and actually finding bold looking crowbar. I ended up sanding off this yellow paint on the handle because I couldn’t find a good black cast-iron looking one. That generated quite a bit of natural sweat on me

Beach Shoot with 2 Girls

Our little crew had a ton of fun at the Ash Bridges Bay beach shooting 2 girls theme. Little story included rivalry over favourite rock, making peace and having fun together (looking at boys walking by). For real there were quite some boys very interested in the event despite the early hour and some of them were desperate to take pictures.

Big thanks to the guest star Celeste McCabe – her great acting skills were the highlight of our little shoot!

Horror style photo shoot

Had a ton of fun shooting horror-style images with Natalia (the model) and Emilie (the makeup artist). Cloudy weather made it even more realistic and creepy!

Big thanks to the talented team! I think we got more realistic visuals than the Ring movie!
